Today we released new interview format.
In logistics, there are many times that there are operations that previously required more time, more resources or even limited the type of projects that a company could access, today they evolve thanks to tools that provide flexibility, efficiency and new business opportunities, such as the logistics platforms of Ashalog.
With this new interview format, we want to show real experiences of companies that have decided to acquire one from Asnalog. Through their own words, we will know how they faced their challenges before, what led them to bet on a new solution and, above all, what impact it has had on their operation, their equipment and their growth.
In this first conversation, we talked with Javier Prada (general director of Galvazinc S.A.) in which he tells us how the logistics platform has not only optimized the loading of containers, but has allowed to expand services, access new projects and generate new billing routes.
- INITIAL CONTEXT
Before we acquired our platform, what were the main logistical or management challenges they had?
We used only to use handbags to move the cargo internally in the marine containers, which put a lift truck at the entrance. For large pieces either use open tops, or there was no way to load it.
- COMPRA DECISION
What factors led you to choose our platform against other market options?
The versatility, the one that you can have the load with access on both sides, which improves the optimization of the space available within the marine containers, and the speed in the load of the container, which allows to make several loads on the same day without problem. With a single operator it can be managed perfectly.
- IMPLICATIONS PROCESS
How did the platform's integration into the need for its activities result? What elements would be highlighted since its incorporation?
It allowed us to make burdens to the outside and access projects that were previously unthinkable. Not only has it allowed us to carry out our projects, but even to carry out the charges of companies in the same group, having another source of billing.
- IMPACT IN THE PRODUCTIVE PROCESS
Since its launch, what improvements have been made in the company's logistics operations?
It has allowed us to expand the service given to customers, as an added value that strengthens their loyalty.
- IMPACT IN EQUIPMENT
What is the opinion of factory staff?
It is a machine that brings value to them, as it greatly facilitates the loads of the marine containers, and their handling is simple.
- SOPORT AND RELATION WITH ANALOG
How was the attention and support received from our team?
Of 10, at all times they have responded immediately to any doubt or incidence, and the advice for the purchase and the ease to finance it is valuable.
- ASPECT TO IMPROVED
What aspect or aspects would improve with regard to treatment, transport, the platform itself...?
The only thing that could improve is to keep in touch with any improvements or advances in these machines that may arise, in case it is interesting to adapt to what we currently have.
- RECOMMENDATION
If I had to recommend our platform to another company, what would stand out as the main value or benefit?
The versatility, ease of handling and speed of loading. The quality-price ratio is very good.
